Amazon Echo has been out for more than a year now and one if its recent upgrade is that its Alexa app can read Kindle eBooks.

Because of this upgrade, fans are saying that the product is getting smarter every day. Not only does it have features to control the Smart Home, But it also offers other facilities like traffic updates and weather information, etc.

Alexa is Amazon Echo's robot, that comes with an app that users can control. To use the new upgrade, users will simply have to instruct "Alexa, Read [Enter Kindle Book Title Here]" and the device would start reading your preferred ebook.

If you want to interrupt it,  just tell Alexa to "pause," and when you're ready, "resume my book." You can also tell Alexa to go "forward" or "back" while reading any of your preferred ebooks.

Users can choose from the set of books they have bought from Kindle Store, or those borrowed from Kindle Owners' Lending library, Cited TechTimes.

While it is useful, experts are stressing that it is important to note that users of the device cannot expect the same quality as that of professionally read audio books.

Mashable stated that having the Amazon Echo Alexa app allows the user to not lift a finger at all, when they wish to read a book.
