‘Digimon Adventure Tri’s Second Film ‘Determination’ Official Trailer Is Out!
After the successful release of "Digimon Adventure Tri: Reunion" in Japan, its second part "Determination" will be hitting theatres on March 12. A month later, the DVD/Blu-Ray versions will be out on retailers, Dan of Geek reported.
As "Digimon Adventure Tri: Determination (Digimon Tri Adventure: Katsui)" release date is just around the corner, film producers have recently dropped the first official trailer.
"It features battle sequences with Rosemon (the ultimate form of Mimi Tachikawa's partner Digimon Palmon) and Vikemon (the ultimate form of Joe Kido's partner Digimon Gomamon), as well as a battle between Ogremon and Leomon from the original series," ANN wrote of the "Digimon Adventure Tri: Determination" trailer.
In addition, the trailer ended with a teaser for the third movie "Confession (Digimon Adventure tri: Kokuhaku)," wherein Patamon says, "Sayonara, Takeru" (T.K.)." It also revealed that the movie will be released this summer.
Digimon fans outside Japan may watch the "Digimon Adventure Tri: Reunion" episodes 1-4 on Crunchyroll for users in the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. Upcoming episodes will be streamed in winter 2016.
The first four episodes can be also watched via Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment on its AnimeLab video-on-demand service for free here. They run approximately 24 minutes each and feature the original Japanese release with English subtitle, Otaku Study reported.
According to Youth Health Magazine, Digimon fans may expect three more upcoming movies related to the franchise.
As previously reported, there are six planned "Digimon" movies in which "Digimon Adventure Tri" is the first to be released in celebration of the franchise's 15th anniversary.
The three-part movie revolves around Taichi Yagami and the events take place after Taichi and the rest of the DigiDestined cross the Digi World six years ago, and three years after their final battle between Hikari Yagami's group and BelialVamdemon.
"On one such day, a Kuwagamon suddenly appears in Odaiba. Its rampage leaves the town in ruins, and the people there in turmoil. Taichi happens to catch sight of the Kuwagamon, and he chases after it all by himself in an effort to halt its rampage. But there's nothing he can do against a Kuwagamon," the plot reads. .
