Which Will Be The New Samsung Flexible Phone: Check Release Date, Specs And Features

Brian Berkeley, Samsung Electronics Senior Vice President of display lab, addressed the keynote for the company at the 2013 International CES at the Venetian on Jan. 9, 2013 in Las Vegas Nevada.

During the address he had displayed the prototype of the YUOM Flexible display that may feature in Samsung's future devices, Getty Images revealed.

Samsung has already stormed the market in 2015 with its latest smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus. Now it is reportedly ready to hit the market with its latest technologically advanced flexible smartphones to woo its customers in the New Year.

Samsung is already ready to introduce several Galaxy S7 phones in 2016 and most probably it will be the world's first foldable and bendable smartphone, Latin One claimed.

The new Samsung flexible phone may replace curves of S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus with actually foldable panels.

Another executive of Samsung further confirmed the information.

"The expansion is inevitable because it has been announced that Samsung Electronics have requested of 8 million flexible panels per month for Galaxy S7," Youth Health Mag reported.

The flexible panels will reportedly be featured in Galaxy S7. However, the new technology is also expected to extend to laptops and monitors. Flexible panels have already created a buzz in the tech world and most fans are already longing to get the first preview, Business Korea reported.

The new Samsung Galaxy S7 is slated to be launched later in 2016 and is expected to have 5.5-inch 4K Super AMOLED screen, a 3.0GHz octa-core Snapdragon processor, 4GB of RAM, 30MP main camera, 7MP front snapper and Iris on the Move.

Some of the experts believe that the new Samsung Flexible Phone may also have an Exynos 16-core big.LITTLE chip.
