Apple Unveils New Versions Of iPhone 6, Apple TV

Apple iPhone 6s Plus is the best phone available in the market, according to the latest AnTuTu benchmark test.

The Apple iPhone 6s Plus scored the highest among the Android devices with 132,620 points. Trailing behind is Huawei's Mate 8 with 92,746.

The list of Best Phones of 2015 also included Meizu's Pro 5, Samsung's Galaxy Note 5, Samsung's Galaxy S6 Edge+, Apple's iPhone 6 Plus, OnePlus' OnePlus 2, LeTV's 1 Pro, Xiaomi's Mi Note Pro and Google's Nexus 6P respectively, Tech Times reported.

Though most of the listed Android smartphones run on the latest Snapdragon 810, Huawei Mate 8 Kirin 950 overpowers the competition. The Chinese flagship has four cores of A72 clocked at 2.3 GHz and another four cores of A53 clocked at 1.8 GHz processors.

On the other hand, Apple iPhone 6s Plus has an A9 chipset paired with a lower RAM capacity of 2GB.

Compared to its predecessors, the Apple iPhone 6s Plus is 70 percent faster in CPU,and 90 percent on GPU, according to Apple's benchmark result, Tech Times added.

"The A9 chip brings a new level of performance and efficiency to iPhone 6s," Apple said.

"Not only a faster experience, but a better one. The A9 chip is capable of gaming console-class graphics performance that makes games and other apps much richer and more immersive."

As the Apple iPhone 6s Plus is named the Best Phone of 2015, some issues have surfaced.

Reportedly, iPhone users who manually set their time to bypass time-based games have been experiencing some issues.

"If you change the time on your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus manually or change time zones when traveling, you might notice that the battery percentage doesn't update," reads a new Apple support document, cited by Technon Buffalo .

"Apple is aware of this issue and is investigating the cause and a solution."

Apple recommends users to restart their iPhone, and then go to Settings > General > Date and Time to ensure that "Set Automatically" option is turned on, IB Times added.
