The man Barry Allen both love and despise is returning. Reverse Flash is set to resurface, according to "The Flash" season 2 spoilers.

The man in the yellow suit might not be exactly what audiences have seen last season. Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said there will be a huge twist about the evil speedster.

"Time on our show does not unfold linearly," Kreisberg said as quoted by Entertainment Weekly in response to a fan asking for "The Flash" season 2 spoilers.

"Sometimes you've seen events from one direction and then you start to see them from the other. This Reverse-Flash is not exactly the Reverse-Flash that we saw disintegrate at the end of the year. It's a Reverse-Flash from an earlier timeline. It's not the Earth-Two Reverse-Flash, it's the Reverse-Flash. That is, hands down, one of our best episodes."

Reverse Flash was last seen in the first season's finale where he was erased from existence after his ancestor, Eddie Thawne (Rickie Cosnett), decided to sacrifice his life. His body literally faded right in front of the eyes of Barry and his friends.

This is why they were in shock to see Harrison Wells who they did not know was from Earth-2.

The Reverse Flash that died is the original from the future. He just took Harrison Wells' identity more than a decade ago to be able to live in Central City and get close to Barry Allen.

Matt Letscher has been re-enlisted to portray the menacing villain again.

Aside from Reverse Flash, "The Flash" season 2 return episodes will also feature two more familiar faces but like Eobard Thawne, they are in the bad side.

Recent "The Flash" season 2 spoilers revealed that Barry's group's travel to Earth-2 will be filled with surprises including seeing Caitlin Snow's counterpart as the villainous ice manipulator Killer Frost and Ronnie Raymond's deadly doppelganger Deathstorm.

The secret about Earth-2 may have been revealed but fans need to keep their eyes glued to their screens as the EP said there are more wild scenes coming involving the two.

"There is such crazy, off-the-chart, wackadoo stuff," Kreisberg told TV Line which then confirmed this 'stuff' are "more than just Caitlin and Ronnie's evil doppelgangers!"
