Carrie Underwood Baby News: 'American Idol' Alum Speaks Up; Says It Changed Her
Carrie Underwood gushed about her baby, Isaiah Fisher. According to a report from Taste of Country, the "American Idol" alum took to social media to share how her 10-month-old son has changed her.
An Instagram photo uploaded by the country superstar last Friday showed the singer's child on a rug surrounded by toys while watching Disney's "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" on TV. In the caption, the 32-year-old said she is happy with the new way she starts her day.
"I used to watch the news in the mornings," the singer wrote alongside the image. "Now I sit in the floor with my cup of coffee and this munchkin and sing the "Hot Dog" song!"
"I think like it better this way!" she added.
The mom-of-one's Instagram followers commented on how they could relate to the proud mom.
"My two-year-old loves this show," one fan wrote. "She sings along and dances to all the songs."
"Awww, I couldn't have said it better myself!" another fan commented. "After 32 years of no children, the 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' is a welcome change."
Carrie Underwood gave birth to her baby in March 2015. The child and his father, NHL player Mike Fisher, appear in the Grammy-winning singer's numerous Instagram posts.
Just recently, the Nashville diva uploaded a video of her husband singing to the 1992 "The River," which gathered compliments from her surprised followers.
Wide Open Country reported about the clip, which caught the attention of the song's original singer, country veteran Garth Brooks.
"Bro, that is AWESOME!" Garth Brooks captioned the re-posted singing video. "I have to call you out after that."
The country crooner then said that the Nashville Predators player needs to perform in one of his concerts.
"Nashville is the last city on the American leg of the World Tour," Garth Brooks told Mike Fisher. "You and me, on stage, The River. You in?"
Apart from the baby news, Carrie Underwood was first to reply that her husband "is in" with Garth Brooks' invitation, which Mike Fisher agreed to later on. "Heck yeah buddy let's do it!" Mike Fisher commented.
