Nicki Minaj’s BF Meek Mill, Drake May Lose Career Due To Feud? Rappers Told To Focus On Music
Would Nicki Minaj's beau Meek Mill and her pal Drake possibly lose their careers because of their ongoing feud?
While rumors about the rappers dissing each other via their songs have been making headlines, Kevin Hart has a piece of advice for both of them.
In an interview with "The Breakfast Club' on Tuesday (as shared by "XXL" magazine), the "Ride Along 2" actor admitted about telling the artists to focus on their music and leave their beef behind.
The comedian, who is said to be close to the two MCs, disclosed that while talking to the 28-year-old Philly rapper, he emphasized about how lucky he is being in his chosen industry.
"Look, at the end of the day, you're Meek Mill now," he reportedly told Nicki Minaj's boyfriend. "You may not understand what that means but other people do.
"That name holds a certain level of respect," he added. "People support what you've built, people buy your albums. Get back to getting in the studio and let [the beef] go."
Accordingly, he also pointed out to him that "Musicians don't sell units right now. So the fact that you are one of eight artists that can sell units, you don't want to jeopardize that. Get back to that!'"
As for Drizzy, who has been in feud with Meek Mill, who is his friend Nicki Minaj's rumored fiancé, for quite a while now, he had this to say, ""Drake is Drake...he's our generation's rap superstar."
"Get back to being Drake the superstar, this can't last that long and go back and forth," he told him. "That's where I come in as a friend... If you're a real friend, that's what you do. You don't support the negative banter between the two for too long."
In the meantime, Complex UK reported that Toronto Raptors player Peter Patterson dished about the ban against the music of Nicki Minaj's boyfriend Meek Mill in their team, following his feud with Canadian artist Drake.
