Fans were jubilant when a Guns N' Roses news confirmed that the band will hold a reunion tour. The reunion will bring vocalist Axl Rose together with guitarists Slash and Duff McKagan as they are scheduled to headline this year's Coachella Music and Arts Festival on April 16 and April 23.

Following the Coachella stint, a series of Guns N' Roses concerts will be held in major stadiums.

Despite negative rumors on Axl Rose's punctuality that sometimes resulted to alleged cancellation of a show, promoters of the Guns N' Roses reunion tour are positive that the band's reputation alone is reliable enough to sell out any stadium that they play in.

Axl Rose had a handful of tours where he played under the Guns N' Roses name along with different musicians. However, this is the first time that the vocalist will be reunited with Slash and McKagan since July 1993 when the trio performed in Buenos Aires.

According to Billboard, Guns N' Roses is asking for as much as $3 million per show on the reunion tour. Several analysts believe that the Coachella stint will earn the band a major payday as tickets for the festival cost around $250 to $275.

But many experts are somewhat skeptical whether the upcoming Guns N' Roses tour will be beneficial to the music industry or will it be a disaster.

AEG senior vice president Joe Litvag told Rolling Stone, "I've had Guns N' Roses with Axl at a couple of our festivals in the last few years and he's been great. Our hope is they're going to do more than a single festival appearance. If they do [a tour], it's going to be big venues and big productions."

The band traces its roots back in the late 80s. Popular Guns N' Roses songs include "Sweet Child O' Mine," "November Rain," "Welcome to the Jungle" and "Paradise City."
