Jimmy Fallon And Wife Nancy Juvonen Divorce Rumors Confirmed? Host Covering Up The Truth?
Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen's marriage have been plagued with divorce rumors lately. But is there truth in the said rumors?
The two have been together since 2004, which seems like a lifetime as far as Hollywood marriages go. And while they appear to be very happy during public appearances as well as in Instagram posts, the couple is rumored to be on the verge of a divorce. The reason? Jimmy Fallon's alleged alcohol addiction.
A few months ago, gossip website Celeb Dirty Laundry reported that Jimmy Fallon's severe finger injuy in July was due to the "Tonight Show" host's drunken night out in New York.
"While the late night host blamed his gruesome injury on his two left feet. He was actually two sheets to the wind after night on the town with two young women," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported.
This spiraled into two more injuries involving the host, including one where he chipped his front tooth and one where he suffered cuts due to a broken Jägermeister bottle.
On Wednesday, Jan. 13, the alcoholism and divorce rumors involving Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy Juvonen, seemed to have caught the attention of NBC executives, prompting them to issue a statement to defend the "Tonight Show" host.
"(Jimmy) doesn't have a drinking problem that any of us know about," NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt told reporters. "He goes out and has fun and he's had some accidents."
"We are always worried about his safety and health and, yeah, there's been conversations about that, (but) the stories are exaggerated about all of it," Greenblatt added.
The NBC executive also assured fans that Jimmy Fallon is going to be around for a long time, despite all the bad luck and accidents he usually gets involved in.
"Jimmy is going to be fine for many years to come," Greenblatt noted. "I often say Jimmy is going to be there longer than me and longer than many of you in your jobs."
