'DC Universe Online' Arriving To Xbox One; 'Legends Of Tomorrow' DLC Content Revealed
"DC Universe Online" is finally hitting the Xbox One console after its exclusivity on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.
After five years, Daybreak Game Company, formerly known as Sony Online Entertainment, is "thrilled" to announce that the MMORPG game "DC Universe Online" makes it way for the Xbox One in celebration of its 5th year anniversary.
According to Tech Times , the game will be free-to-play and it's safe to assume that the game developers will continue to release updates.
As part of its 5th anniversary, game developers are also adding the "Legends of Tomorrow" DLC. The expansion costs $4 per month with two pieces of content.
Some of the "Legends of Tomorrow" DLC contents have been revealed through a recent interview with Daybreak Creative Director S.J. Mueller, Comic Book reported.
When asked about the DLC, he explained how the expansion is related to the "Arrow" and "The Flash" series spinoff.
"In Episode 21, one part, "The Final Piece," introduces a mysterious Time Traveler that is putting together a team for an urgent mission. Like the TV series, this mystery figure is recruiting heroes and villains. Episode 21 features Hawkgirl, Hawkman, Captain Cold and Heat Wave, but it also introduces the Atom to the game."
As for the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" requested content, Mueller said that "DC Comics universe is extremely vast, so there is a ton of content to work with."
"Sometimes it makes sense for content to reflect current happenings in the greater universe, and other times it just doesn't fit with current plans," he added.
Although a cinematic expansion is still uncertain, game developers urge fans to share their most wanted "Superman" content inclusion.
According to Movie Pilot, this content will arrive some time this year.
"DC Universe Online" Xbox One version will be released in Spring 2016.
