'The Files' cast red carpet appearance.

After more than a decade of hiatus, "The X-files" is coming back and could finally tackle theories about Gillian Anderson's personality on the series. As the well-loved science fiction series will be returning on TV screens in a few days, spoilers have been ramping up.

Reportedly, the fan's theory about Dana Scully, played by Gillian Anderson, being immortal will be addressed too, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The fans' theory first stemmed from season 3 episode "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose," when Scully asked a man who can foresee someone's death how she'll die, and the man answered, "you don't," Slate reported.

Fans also believe that Scully acquired her immoratility on season 6 episode "Tithonus."

In that episode, a man who can't die took Scully's place after she has been shot. The following episodes continued with Scully and Mulder escaping near death scenarios, Huffington Post  added.

"Her death is exactly what caused the time loop. She was not supposed to die so time reset until she survived," a Reddit under the name the_piranha explained.

Although "The X-files" season 10 hasn't premiered yet, fans have been clamoring for more spoilers about Scully's immortality.

In a recent interview with show creator Chris Carter, he didn't address the speculations but said that fans should wait for episode 6.

"It's certainly been suggested, but I can tell you this: Stay tuned for Episode 6," he told Huffington Post.

Carter was also asked if the Scully can never die, and he simply added, "yes it is. Whatever you believe that truth to be."

The "The X-files" reboot will see the return of stars Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, Mitch Pileggi, William B. Davis, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose and Joel McHale.

However, fans will be missing Robert Patrick due to his previous commitments on the CBS show "Scorpion," Spinoff reported.

Meanwhile, the "The X-files" trailer revisits the roots of the series from NASA to UFOs. Watch trailer below.

"The X-Files" premieres on Jan. 24 at FOX. Stay tuned for more spoilers and updates.
