"Ray Donovan" fans may be disappointed that Liev Schreiber didn't get the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an actor in a television series - drama this year, ahead of the show's season 4 premiere.

Before the awards night, Liev Schreiber's life partner Naomi Watts was all out in her support for the "Ray Donovan" actor.

"'Good luck tonight to this one!!' the 47-year-old gushed underneath an image of her partner and their two children, sons Alexander 'Sasha' Pete, eight, and Samuel 'Sammy' Kai, seven," Daily Mail reported, pertaining to Watts' Instagram post.

Despite not taking home a Golden Globe award, Liev Schreiber will surely continue working hard in "Ray Donovan" season 4.

The show's boss David Hollander previously dished out on what fans can expect from Schreiber's character on the upcoming season.

"Season four is going to look closely at Ray's option or desire to go further with facing his own past, but that desire is going to lead him into a new form of relationship, a relationship that is going to open up his life personally and professionally in yet another large city," Hollander told The Hollywood Reporter.

"We're really excited about where we're going in season four, it's going to be an emotional, but big and loud and brassy and visually fun year. With Los Angeles and another city becoming enforcer frames at the same time," he added.

It can be recounted that the past seasons of the show had a mid-year premiere date.

Past seasons of "Ray Donovan" premiered in July, with the sole exception of the first season which aired on June 30, 2013.

The premiere dates of seasons 2 and 3 both fell on the second Sunday of July. If the show will continue its tradition, many fans are guessing that the premiere date of "Ray Donovan" season 4 could be on July 10.
