'Orphan Black' Season 4 Spoilers: Release Date Teased As Well As New Unique Clone

Amid the wait for "Orphan Black" season 4 release date, spoilers were revealed in a new teaser featuring the main clones, all brilliantly played by Tatiana Maslany.

The new "Orphan Black" season 4 teaser, titled "Down the Rabbit Hole", hinted of darker things that might happen to the seestrahs. It also featured some clips of the new clone that will join the show.

"Orphan Black" season 4 release date, according to the video, is around April but the specific date has not been given yet.

As for the new clone coming to the series, co-showrunners John Fawcett and Graeme Manson are excited about this new development. Manson even described this new sister named M.K. saying, she is someone "who knows more than us."

"We're excited about this new character because it really has been fun unpacking and unveiling this story of this slightly traumatized clone who has a deep past," Fawcett said when asked by Entertainment Weekly to discuss the new clone first seen in a rabbit mask.

Graeme Manson seconded saying, "Yeah, she comes out of the shadows and for the first time we're meeting someone who knows more than us. Sarah is meeting a clone who has got more answers than she does, and yet she's a slippery character."

People have seen smart clones in the person of Sarah, Rachel and Cosima. However, M.K. might be on another level.

"And very elusive. And quite highly skilled and very smart," he said. "And it is interesting as Sarah tries to interact with this character who is almost kind of like a Deep Throat kind of character. What's very cool about it is this is a clone who has been self-aware for some time."

Sarah will have a worm problem when "Orphan Black" season 4 release date arrives and Fawcett said this will be one of the bigger plots when the show returns.

"[It's] a new way to explore the science in 'Orphan Black," he told Zap2it back in June after the third season ended. "And it's kind of a mystery. It's like this creepy, gross, weird, horrible, scary thing that happened to Delphine and to the audience and there is no answer."

"I like that. I like that the audience is going, 'What the f*** was that?' ... We're setting things up for Season 4."
