‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Spoilers: Glenn To Get Killed? Rick To Hack Jessie To Save Carl?
Recent "The Walking Dead" season 6 spoilers revealed that a "major death" is expected to take place as the series comes back on Feb. 14. Would Glenn be among the anticipated casualties?
According to Movie Pilot, the return of the AMC horror-drama show is "going to be a punch in the gut when it does."
With this being said, the outlet speculated that two of its biggest characters might be facing death this time.
Considering that Daryl and Glenn are both fan favourites, it was noted that it might be very difficult to choose who between them will finally bid farewell in "The Walking Dead" season 6.
"As comic readers know and have acknowledged for a while now is that Glenn was roughly and ghastly beaten to a bloody pulp (literally!) by Negan's companion weapon, Lucille," the report stated. "So the question is tossed up in the air: who would you save?"
However, the report pointed out that it would be better to have Glenn stay longer.
"So, if I were to choose one to die, I would say Daryl just because I want to see the show release itself from this binding spot it is in," Andrew McMillan of Movie News Guide said when it comes to his own "The Walking Dead" season 6 spoilers.
"I LOVE Daryl and LOVE Glenn, but if the show didn't have fans that said 'If Daryl dies we riot,' I wouldn't worry about the show not feeling as free to me and would say I would rather Glenn to die," he added.
In the meantime, Vanity Fair claimed that based on the show's released art key, it can be predicted that "the deeply sad comic-book story where Jessie, grabbing Carl's hand during the panic of a zombie onslaught," which actually signals the end of their romance, will happen.
In the said scene, Rick will be forced to "cut her off at the wrist" to save his son, which will cause Jessie to go down - to where the hungry walkers are waiting for their next victim.
