The "Psycho-Pass" season 3 is speculated to be all about Shinya Kogami and his transition as an antagonist, but less hostile than the series villain, Shogo Makishima.

The latest possible spoilers for the season 3 tease that the lead character of the story, Kogami, will follow the footsteps of the antagonist, Shogo.

According to some of the Reddit users, the season 3 of the anime series will feature Kogami in a very different way. It is rumored that he will behave similarly to Shogo after reading the novel written by him, but unlike the main villain, he will be less aggressive.

Some spoilers also reveal that Kogami will also suffer from hallucinations of Shogo, which will make him think and act more like the villain. Speculations are that Kogami will release few people from the Sybil jail facility and will form a new group of his own.

Furthermore, the new season is also rumored to feature Kogami's struggle for accepting his new transformed version like Shogo, Reddit user Abucas claimed.

Also, few spoilers suggest that the season 3 will witness a fierce combat between Akane and Mika. The rumor claimed that Mika is the one who has been leaking out the information. She is also speculated to die in the new season.

Additionally, it has been reported that the existence of Sybil will be threatened by some new armed force group in the upcoming new season of the anime series.

Additionally, the season 3 of "Psycho-Pass" is speculated to air around 20 episodes featuring philosophical and psychological issues.

The details for season 3 of the anime are yet to be confirmed, but the series is speculated to make a comeback this year, iDigital Times noted.

Some rumors also teased the possibility that season 3 will mark the end of the anime series.

Lastly, Anime New Network reported that the producer of the anime series, Akitoshi Mori, has earlier expressed his desire to do a future installment of "Psycho-Pass," which hints at the possibility of season 3.

The season 1 of the anime series was aired on Fuji TV in 2012 with online streaming on FUNimation. "Psycho-Pass" season 2 was broadcasted in the fall of 2014, after which the series went on a hiatus.
