'The Originals' Season 3 Spoilers: Kol Mikaelson Not Really Dead? Character Returns!
Several spoilers and rumors have claimed that Kol Mikaelson is set to return in "The Originals" season 3, and now the talks have been confirmed to be true.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, "The Originals" executive producer Michael Narducci said, "We will see Kol back on The Originals this season. Davina will find help from an unlikely place and make contact with the long lost love of her life, Kol Mikaelson."
It has been an unfavorable season for Davina's character.
First, she lost the love of her life, Kol. Then, she witnessed how her best friend Josh lost Aiden. At one point, Davina's character was somehow redeemed when she was chosen to be Regent of the Witches of New Orleans, only to be stripped away from that title in later episodes, according to CDA News.
Devoted fans speculate that since Davina is no longer a regent, she can finally have all the time she needs in order to bring Kol back.
There are fan rumors claiming that "The Originals" season 3 is going to devote a significant amount of screen time in Davina's effort to bring Kol back. As an accepted truth in the series' universe, bringing someone back from the dead is not an easy task.
Narducci provided a bit of spoilers about "The Originals" season 3 when he said that Davina will have to endure a dangerous journey, which will see her in the supernatural underworld of New Orleans.
He added that Davina's storyline will help shape both the past and future of the Mikaelson family line.
For many fans, the biggest question now is which actor will reprise the role of Kol Mikaelson.
The show can either bring back Nathaniel Buzolic, who played the original vampire Kol, or Daniel Sharman, who played the witch version.
Either way, fans are still excited now that "The Originals" season 3 spoilers about a major character returning has been confirmed.
