‘Expendables 4’ Movie Release Date Detailed; The Rock Wants ‘To Hunt Every Single One Of Them’
Fans of the widely acclaimed franchise "Expendables" could only dream of being part of the heroic group listed by Sylvester Stallone.
However, that may not be the case for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as he expressed his intentions of being a villain in the "Expendables 4" movie in the event that he suddenly appears in the film once it hits its release date.
It was reported by Latin Post that Sylvester "Sly" Stallone wanted to include iconic professional wrestlers Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and the legendary Hulk Hogan in the upcoming "Expendables 4" movie, despite the fact that there hasn't been any final casting details being made nor an exact release date.
Moreover, "Expendables" creator Sylvester Stallone expressed that he wanted the WWE superstar to be the villain in the upcoming movie that is being released sometime next year, as stated by the Movie Pilot.
The source noted that Johnson has become one of Hollywood's mainstay actors in big-budgeted action films as it was said that the actor will be seen in the upcoming "Shazam," "Big Trouble in Little China," "Predator 4," "Fast 8" and rumored to be cast in "Terminator." His appearance in the said films may have pushed Stallone to consider casting Johnson in the franchise's sequel.
As such, fans could not resist but ask the actor details about his speculated involvement in the film.
During Johnson's Reddit interview on the "Ask Me Anything" portion, the WWE star said to his fans that he "wants to hunt every single one of them down."
"If you're asking if I would consider being in the EXPENDABLES franchise - then the answer is yes," the actor said. "BUT... I don't want to be on their team and be buddies with them. I want to hunt every single one of them down and tell them to 'send your soul to heaven 'cause your ass is mine.'"
The release date of "Expendables 4" is said to be sometime in 2017, according to Franchise Herald.
