‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Cast To Get Sexier In Scenes? Film Editor Spills Details!
The film editor of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie wanted the cast of "Fifty Shades Darker" to be sexier in their scenes.
According to the 90-year-old film editor Anne V. Coates, she hopes that the cast would get raunchier, as she noted that fans' had some issues the film's softer take on the book's hardcore subject matter , The Hollywood Reporter.
"Creatively, it was quite interesting because they were trying to get as sexy as they could and get an R rating," Anne V. Coates said. "So we were very delicately going around some of the scenes."
Coates also revealed that she surprised when she was asked to work for the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie.
"I was surprised to be asked to do it, but I think it was because I did [Adrian Lyne's 2002 erotic thriller starring Richard Gere and Diane Lane] 'Unfaithful,' which was fairly sexy," she said.
The veteran film editor was recently hailed with the Los Angeles Film Critics Association's Career Achievement Award for her great contribution for the industry, International Business Times said in a report.
Cast members Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, who plays as Christian Grey, have already announced that they will reprise their role on the "Fifty Shades Darker" movie.
Also rumored to be part of the roster are Ian Somerhalder, Cara Delevingne, Theo James, Charlize Theron, Henry Cavill and Alexis Bledel, Fashion & Style said in a report.
The names will join the first members Rita Ora as Mia Grey, Max Martini as Taylor, Luke Grimes as Elliot Grey, Eloise Mumford as Kate and Victor Rasuk as José Rodriguez.
The cast members for "Fifty Shades Darker" are set to appear on the big screen by next year, February 10. Its third sequel "Fifty Shades Freed" will be shown in 2018.
