Miss Colombia 2015 To Join Modern Family Cast? Will She Play As Sofia Vergara's Sister?
Despite not being able to take home the crown after the Miss Universe 2015 mishap, Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez is now rumored to be part of the "Modern Family" cast.
According to a news from Vine Report, an acting opportunity is waiting for the 22-year-old beauty queen as she will soon play as Sofia Vergara's twin sister in the award-winning comedy show.
Reports said that the brunette actress, who recently married Joe Manganiello, was the one who noticed her similarities in physical features with her fellow Colombian.
"I think she will be a great Gloria. I am already teaching her how to fake her accent," Sofia Vergara said, as report by Parent Herald.
Sofie Vergara has also expressed sympathy on Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez after host Steve Harvey's wrong announcement of winner.
The "Modern Family" cast member said in her Twitter account, "La Reina de todos modos," which means "The Queen either way."
Also, Ariadna Gutierrez has already signed with Sofia Vegara's manager Luis Balaguer, which heightened rumors that she will soon be a part of the "Modern Family" cast.
Last year, the pageant made headlines when host and comedian Steve Harvey mistakenly announced Ariadna Gutierrez as the winner instead of Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach.
After four minutes as Miss Universe, Ariadna's crown was removed from her head and was later given to Miss Philippines in what the world dubbed as one of the most awkward coronation night in pageant history.
"In four minutes, they destroy your dreams; they throw it in a bag and they throw it in the trash," Miss Colombie 2015 said in Spanish-language TV network Univision, through a report from Contact Music. "They could have done it another way. I feel like it doesn't matter to them, the feelings of a girl who has worked her whole life for a dream."
