iOS 9.3 Beta Download Now Available; New Features Announced As Details Released!
The beta download for the new iOS 9.3 is now available for developers, while the update is likely to available for all iOS users at the earliest possible.
As for now, it is available only for its developers, implying that it hasn't been completed yet. There is no official announcement of its release date but it is likely that Apple would release it soon (with its preview released a couple of months prior to the final version).
However, until they are set to arrive, new features have been announced.
A new night shift mode changes the colors on the screen at night, enabling you to improve your sleep quality. Researchers believe that the blue light emitted by LED screens stop the production of melatonin (the hormone that instructs your brain to sleep). On switching from bright white and blue undertones to warmer colors (like red, yellow and orange) which makes it easier on your eyes, thereby allows your body to fall asleep naturally. This feature was brought about by apps like Flux and Twilight but you had to jailbreak your iOS to activate it. But the iOS 9.3 beta download has this feature built-in and lets you schedule it too, Cited CNET.
The previous iOS version gave us an one-stop shop for news the News App that is getting more personalised in 9.3 update, showcasing stories that are more tailored according to your interests. The app will also get performance updates which will enable it to load faster and watch videos from the feed.
Notes App that is password protected -You'll be able to finally sort notes by date and title. May not be something new, but it does make the app more useful.
Health app - The new update will highlight third party apps that you can connect to, Wellness dashboard to keep tabs on workout schedules weight and sleep quality trackings.
CarPlay with better tunes - Apple's in-car entertainment and navigation system gets upgrades of apple music and maps (to find food, fuel , etc).
Classroom App that makes iPads incredible teaching tools with extra features to helpthem fit better into a classroom. It enables teachers deliver lesson plans and track students' progresses. Also, Students can login into a single iPad with different accounts to personalize what they can see. This whole-new education focused update includes the features like user accounts by Apple ID, currently available only to educational institutes, Cited 9to5mac.
With all these exciting features, iOS 9.3 beta version is currently available for download and its official release date for iPhones and iPads aren't yet disclosed, but expected soon.
