It isn't usual for the "Star Wars: Force Awakens" actor Oscar Isaac to be bold in sharing his personal life to public. But Isaac seems to break his trend when he kissed his date for the evening, Elvira Lind, at the 73rd annual Golden Globes award on Sunday.
When his name was called to receive the Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series, the 36-year-old star kissed the blonde beauty as he made his way to the stage. Isaac's work in "Show Me A Hero" received the award where Lind, his rumored girlfriend, was the documentary director.
Meanwhile, a report from Us Weekly officially confirmed that Isaac is dating Lind.
Fans are now wondering, after Isaac and Lind's scene from the Golden Globe, what happened with Isaac's former flame Maria Miranda. Are the two still together?
From a previous article by Bustle, his previous relationship was with longtime girlfriend and rumored fiancée Maria Miranda.
However, fans do know that Isaac was supposedly proposed to Miranda way back December 2007, reported NY Daily News. According to the site, he popped the question in front of the Lincoln Center after watching opera at the Met on Christmas Eve.
"There were a lot of spectators, and he gave her a beautiful handmade diamond ring surrounded by pink sapphires. She said yes - jumping up and down excitedly and they were kissing," the source said.
Thus, many would be guessing that the two have been married by now after the news surfaced eight years ago. In an interview with Details, the author gushed about Isaac's future plans, "He has plans for a vacation in Guatemala before he begins shooting "X-Men," but apart from spending time with his girlfriend, that's about it."
The Guatemalan musician doesn't give any hint regarding this issue.
