2017 Mercedes Benz E-Class Reviews Released; Technology At Its Cusp of Autonomous Driving!

Mercedes Unveiled its 2017 Mercedes Benz E-Class at the 2016 Auto Show in Detroit. According to the reviews already coming in, the car is packed with technology that puts it at the cusp of self driving modes.
In its 10th generation now, the midsize luxury Sedan is an important one for the company and it is not surprising that Daimler has made it the flagship of the latest ready-for-prime-time technology, this according to fans.
According to an analyst at Kelley Blue Book whose email read "As the second-best-selling vehicle in the Mercedes lineup, the E-Class is an important vehicle for one of the premiere luxury marques", Cited International Business Times, "The new E-Class should come chock full of new technology, including autonomous features - something many luxury cars are starting to offer."
The 2017 Mercedes E-Class has a high-tech center console and an analog clock, a feature that the initial reviews are viewing on a positive note. The unit also comes with an optional Driver Assistance Package that will automatically control acceleration, braking and lane changing. The drive pilot will follow along with traffic up to 130 miles per hour and the auto-braking system will autonomously stop the vehicle to avoid collisions.
The driver assistance package will consist of Adaptive cruise control, active lane change assist, active brake assist with cross-traffic function, evasive steering assist, active blind spot assist, Pre-safe sound, Remote parking pilot, Car-to-X communication, cited ExtremeTech.
The cockpit is likely to have side-by-side mega LCDs, the command center console controller and touchpad.
The car is equipped with dual front-facing cameras to create a 3D image map of hazards up to 55 yards in front, while adaptive cruise control can now keep pace with the car ahead now at speeds up to 130 mph.
It is expected to have a turbocharged four-cylinder, 241 hp gasoline engine, designated the E300. And its following models are likely to include a turbo six, a v8, a plug-in Hybrid and a 42 mpg diesel.
This will be the car that the company will be using to test fully autonomous driving this year after getting a license for it from the state of Nevada. Similar to other carmakers such as Google, Mercedes Benz is trying to stay in the game of whatever future is in store for car mobility.
With all these reviews from fans and enthusiasts, The 2017 Mercedes Benz E-Class is expected to debut this summer. There is no information about the pricing yet. (But the current version being priced at $52,000, this could go up to $55,000).
