‘Dragon Ball Super’ Manga News: Gohan To Shine Again In The Upcoming Champa Saga? Soundtrack For New Chapter Ready By Feb.

Fans are already stoked for what is about to happen in the upcoming episodes of "Dragon Ball Super," considering that it will focus on the Champa Saga. Will the Manga-based series follow through and surpass the high reception of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F?"

Now that a new story arc is looming, show runners need to make good with their promise that new characters or atleast unique developments will unfold soon.

"'Dragon Ball Super'" is a complete continuation of the Majin Buu story arc," said creator Akira Toriyama during his discussion with V Jump (via Toei Animation). "It's got a bit of post-battle aftermath, continues with the 'Battle of Gods' arc where the God of Destruction Beerus appears and the 'Resurrection F' arc where Freiza comes back to life, and then, I've written a strange new story where they finally depart from this universe. They're fighting against their neighbors, Universe 6!"

As reported by Design & Trend, the Champa Saga, which is based on Beerus' brother, will commence with a new tournament that is open for all of the best fighters.

However, many die-hards were saddened to know that Gohan will be left out and will have to remain on Earth. Will this be a turn for the better or worse for the underwhelmed character of "Dragon Ball Super?"

Movie Pilot previously commented that the series "decided to degrade Gohan even more. Not only power wise. But, also they destroyed his physique. Looks like a character from some other anime." But this does not mean that the creators of the anime are destroying him.

In fact, if a new villain appears on Earth, Gohan will have the sole opportunity to defend it, giving him a chance to regain his former glory and even surpass Goku in a couple of episodes.

Meanwhile, the show's official Twitter account revealed that a new set of soundtracks will be out by Feb. 24 in Japan.

"To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the TV anime's broadcast, the series' historical theme songs, from the first opening theme "Mystical Adventure!" to the Dragon Ball Super theme song, will be collected on the "Dragon Ball Godly BEST" album set to be released February 24th," it read in the Tweet.

From its upcoming soundtrack, to the most anticipated character development plots, 2016 is shaping up to be a great year for "Dragon Ball Super" and its fans. Stay tuned for more news and spoilers.
