Amy Schumer And Jennifer Lawrence To Wear Same Outfits At The Golden Globes? Details Released!

Both Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence are nominated for a Golden Globe in the same category and Lawrence announced that their attempt to pull off matching outfits at the awards ceremony, according to Huffington Post.

Schumer is nominated for "Trainwreck" and Lawrence is nominated for "Joy" where she portrays the inventor of the Miracle Mop. The two are nominees in the "Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture" category.

After the announcement, Schumer joked that the friendship would have to end.

"The friendship is completely over," Amy Schumer told Entertainment Tonight. "I just blocked her number. It's over."

The 34-year old comedian clarified that she was happy for Lawrence and posted a picture of them on Instagram. The image showed the two on stage at a Billy Joel concert in August and captioned it with, "Congrats to my other sis."

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lawrence was also promoting her new movie "Joy," which will hit theaters on Christmas Day.

"We're going to try to figure out (how) to wear the exact same thing," said Lawrence to E! News' Marc Malkin. "That's my mission. I really want us to wear the same thing."

"She's going to have to wear Dior," said Lawrence of Amy Schumer. "I'm just going to have to have Dior make two of whatever they're making for me."

Lawrence has been part of the French fashion house for the past three years. She has been the face of the Miss Dior line and in May 2015 the face of the Dior Addict beauty line.

The 25-year old actress attended the 2013 and 2014 Golden Globes wearing Dior Couture.

Amy Schumer and Jennifer Lawrence are currently working on a screenplay together, where the two will play sisters, revealed The Sydney Morning Herald.

The 2016 Golden Globe Awards will air on NBC on Jan. 10 live.
