"Overwatch" closed beta servers will be taking a break on Dec. 10, according to Eurogamer.net.

"Overwatch" servers for the closed beta version went live for a few weeks last November. Since then, many closed beta players have tried out the beta version of the game, testing out the many features it had offered. So far, players were satisfied of all the features and only a few of them were complaining of certain bugs and issues.

Now it seems that Blizzard wants to take a break and will be making the "Overwatch" closed beta servers offline for a while. The good news for the players is that the servers will be back online in "mid-to-late January," according to sources. Players can gain access again to the alpha test in 2016.

The break will begin on Thursday, Dec. 10 at 9 am PST, according to IGN.

"This phase of development has been key, but now it's time to analyze the data we have, dig into your feedback even further, and put that knowledge to use as best we can," said Blizzard in a statement.

In addition, the game developers will use this time to evaluate problems reported by the players, suggestion, critiques and what the players experienced throughout the beta phase. They will also work on features that are still in development like spectating and progression.

"This phase of development has been key, but now it's time to analyze the data we have, dig into your feedback even further, and put that knowledge to use as best we can," said Blizzard in the same statement.

While the "Overwatch" closed beta servers will be offline for the rest of December and the early parts of January, the closed beta forums will still be open, according to PC Gamer. Closed beta players will be able to login to the forums and read up announcements posted until Dec. 18. There will be no new players added between today and the shutdown, but those who are in the current beta will be registered again once it starts.
