"Dead or Alive Xtreme 3" might be too sexy for the Western audiences, according to Polygon.

This game is a new iteration of the "Dead or Alive Xtreme" game franchise, which has been a spin-off of the original "Dead or Alive" game series. "DOAX3" was announced to be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita next year.

It was also confirmed that the game will support Sony's PlayStation VR headset. The game will also be exclusive to Japan and Asia.

In addition, a few weeks ago, a community manager for Team Ninja, the studio behind the game, has confirmed on their official Facebook page that the game will only be released in Japan and Asian countries. The manager has also commented that they are being careful with the issues behind treating female characters in a video game.

Now, "Dead or Alive Xtreme 3" game publisher Koei Tecmo has finally issued a statement to respond to one of the comments that one of their employees made about the game not going to the West. Below is the official statement from the game publisher.

From the tweet, the game publisher said that the Facebook comment was not a statement from the company, but only the opinion of the person handling the Facebook page, according to Kotaku. The company is still intent on releasing it to the West but they are not sure if some certain groups from the West can accept their standards, as speculated by the game website.

The game is still in development, but the only confirmed release will be in Japan and Asia, according to VG247. There are no confirmed plans of releasing it to the West, but Koei Tecmo is thinking about it.

"Dead or Alive Xtreme 3" will be released in Japan and Asia on Feb. 25, 2016, according to IGN.
