InSomnias Tear Up As Dreamcatcher Garners Emotional First Win With ‘MAISON’ On ‘Show Champion’

After more than 5 years of being active in the K-pop industry, JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon of Dreamcatcher Company's Dreamcatcher have emotionally taken home their very first music show trophy!

On the 20th of April episode of "Show Champion," the K-pop artists in the running to take home the first place trophy were BIGBANG with "Still Life," DKZ (previously known as DONGKIZ) with "Cupid," IVE with "LOVE DIVE," Dreamcatcher with "MAISON," and SHINee's Onew with "DICE."

After a nail-biting pause prior to announcing this week's "Show Champion" winners, the trophy eventually went on to go to Dreamcatcher Company's Dreamcatcher, making it the K-pop girl group's first-ever music show win since their debut more than five years ago on the 13th of January, 2017.

The members of the K-pop girl group alongside their InSomnias (the fandom name of Dreamcatcher) were immensely emotional as the win marks their very first victory in a major music show.

2022 is gearing up to be an amazing year for the Dreamcatcher Company's K-pop girl group and with their very first win, Dreamcatcher's JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami, and Gahyeon seem to be reinvigorated with joy.

Congratulations to Dreamcatcher for taking home this week's trophy from "Show Champion"!

Notably, other K-pop artists who performed on the "Show Champion" episode included Hong Ji Yun, IVE, DKZ, EPEX, JUST B, Kwon Eun Bi, CRAVITY, ILY:1, GHOST9, NINE.i, MEGAMAX, Hong Eui Jin, Rosanna, and Chae Yoon.
