"I love that I'm able to make good memories for my fans. To be honest, I didn't think this event is that big of a deal. I actually thought it was a pretty common event. Doesn't everyone do this...? The acrostic poem on the photo cards, too. I really thought someone would have tried that already," EXO' Suho expressed.
Adding to this, EXO's Suho joked that K-pop idols were 'getting kind of lazy' because they did not come up with the idea first. Furthermore, Suho jokingly blamed the entertainment companies for ignoring such small details.
Following this, netizens mistook Suho's joke. But to further add to the controversy, a Korean news site also wrote about the comment with the headline, "Suho Says Idols These Days Are Lazy."
To defend their K-pop idol, a plethora of comments explained that EXO's Suho was only kidding and that the K-pop idol was not serious. Positively, the majority of K-pop fans believe that the hate comments toward Suho were uncalled for.
