TWICE Reaffirms Its Position As A Top Girl Group In Japan

JYP Entertainment's top girl group TWICE once again topped the Oricon chart and reaffirmed their strong local popularity in Japan.

TWICE's fourth best album "#TWICE4" was released in Japan on March 16th. "#TWICE4" was well received in Japan and recorded 45,542 points, climbing to the top of the Oricon daily album chart

The album "#TWICE4" includes the Japanese version of TWICE's global hits like "I CAN'T STOP ME," "CRY FOR ME," "Alcohol-Free," and "SCIENTIST." 

Prior to the release of the new album, the Japanese version of the music video for the song "SCIENTIST" was released on TWICE's official Japanese YouTube channel. The music video showcased the perfect charm of the TWICE members who have turned into "scientists" researching on the formula of love.

Celebrating the 5th anniversary of their official Japanese debut this year, TWICE is developing various projects. Starting with the release of their best 4th album '#TWICE4' on March 16th, the DVD release commemorating the 5th anniversary of their debut in May, and an upcoming 4th Japanese full-length album in July.

In April, TWICE will hold a solo concert at Tokyo Dome, Japan. As part of the K-Pop girl group's successful fourth world tour "TWICE 4TH WORLD TOUR 'Ⅲ'."

Additional performances for the sold out "dome" concert were confirmed. 

TWICE will hold a total of three solo performances at the Tokyo Dome from April 23 to 25, 2022, and meet Japanese fans for the first time in about two years.

On the other hand, Twice recently completed the North American leg of their fourth world tour.  TWICE's 4th World Tour "III" garnered 100,000 enthusiastic attendees in seven shows across five cities, raising their status as "K-Pop representative girl group."
