But fans of the K-drama were thrilled when it was announced that the official OST of JTBC's "Snowdrop" would be released. With it comes a special CD full of amazing songs, a special photobook with photos from the K-drama, and unique polaroids.

In the JTBC program, both K-pop and K-drama fans were wondering when the official soundtrack of "Snowdrop" would be released and who would be featured in it.

It was slightly hinted that Jung Hae In might make an appearance in the OST, BLINKs (the fandom name of BLACKPINK) wanted to know if BLACKPINK's Jisoo would be singing in the OST. It was also slightly expected as Jisoo is an immensely popular K-pop idol.

But BLACKPINK's Jisoo confirmed that she was not in the "Snowdrop" OST during a live broadcast with K-pop fans. Hearing this, BLINKs were surprised when it was revealed that the K-pop idol was actually asked by the "Snowdrop" producer but actually turned the offer down.

In Jisoo's live broadcast with fans, the K-pop idol shared that the "Snowdrop" director Jo Hyun Tak asked the BLACKPINK member to sing for the OST, but Jisoo turned down the request.

"I thought that if my voice came out as a song, it would be hard to concentrate on the drama. I wanted Young Ro to be left as Young Ro. The directors respected my opinion," BLACKPINK's Jiisoo revealed.

When BLACKPINK's Jisoo shared the reason to her fans, they could not stop praising her for her professionalism. Albeit a little bit sad, netizens and K-pop fans understand and respects Jisoo's choice.
