‘Plague Inc. Evolved’ Multiplayer Update Announced; New Mode Adds New Features!
"Plague Inc. Evolved" gets a multiplayer update on Dec. 1, according to PC Gamer.
The game is about creating your own virus and releasing it to the world, trying to upgrade its abilities and skills until the whole world is infected. It is a good game to play with good reviews from the Steam community. Some game websites gave it a small score due to lack of gameplay and interactivity. It was first released for Android and iOS devices in 2012 but was launched later on PC and Xbox One.
The multiplayer mode of "Plague Inc. Evolved" was planned for the PC edition a while now. Next week, the versus mode of the game will be launched for players and big fans to try out, according to PC Games N.
"In VS. mode - the world is unlucky enough to be infected by two deadly plagues who are battling for control of the world," states the description developer Ndemic Creations wrote on Steam. "Whoever infects the world first wins but they must also avoid being cured by humanity or prematurely eradicated by the other plague!"
The new multiplayer mode will also introduce new features for the game, according to Polygon.
"Players get all new evolutions, abilities and genes to help them in their struggle for dominance as well as slowing their opponent," said creator James Vaughan. "Single player was just the start of the outbreak."
One example of the new features of the multiplayer mode is the "Immune Shock" which will overload the immune systems of the population which was infected with the disease. This will then get a player a cooperative decimation of the population of millions. A player can even help humanity with developing a cure but only against the competitor.
In addition, there are no plans of bringing the multiplayer mode to the mobile platform but Vaughan said the Xbox One version of "Plague Inc. Evolved" might get one in the future.
