AOA's Kim Seol Hyun Is Reportedly Working With ZE:A's Im Si Wan For Upcoming K-Drama ‘Summer Strike’

ZE:A's Im Si Wan and AOA's Kim Seolhyun received an offer to appear in the new drama "Summer Strike."

On the 10th, Plum A&C, the management company of Im Si Wang confirmed the news saying, "Im Si Wan received an offer for 'Summer Strike' and is considering it." 

On the other hand, Kim Seolhyun's agency, FNC Entertainment, also said, "The drama 'Summer Strike' is one of the works that have been proposed to Kim Seolhyun."

"Summer Strike" is a K-drama based on the webtoon "I Don't Want to Do Anything" by Joo Young Hyun. It is a melodrama about a woman who declared a life strike at the age of 28 by moving into a small town and living a minimalistic life.

Kim Seol Hyun is offered to take on the role of Lee Yeo Reum, who is a woman who just started working. However, she decided to leave her job in a medium-sized company in Seoul and live in a small town named Angok.

Im Si Wan is known to have been offered the role of Ahn Dae Beom, who was famous for competing with Seoul National University students in solving math problems 20 years ago. 

Expectations are rising whether Im Si Wan and Kim Seolhyun's collaboration can be confirmed through "Summer Strike."

Meanwhile, "Summer Strike" is reported to be directed by Lee Yoon Jung, who directed MBC's "Coffee Prince's 1st Store" and tvN's "Cheese in the Trap."

No other details regarding the production of the K-drama "Summer Strike" have been revealed.

Aside from "Summer Strike," AOA's Kim Seol Hyun is also offered to star on the upcoming drama "The Murderer's Shopping List" alongside Lee Kwang Soo, Jin Hee Kyung, Shin Sung Woo, and Park Ji Bin.

Im Si Wan is currently starring alongside Son Hyun Joo, Go Ah Sung, and many others in the MBC drama "Tracer."
