Specifically, NCT's label, SM Entertainment, has gotten flack from fans as NCT's full 2021 album entitled "Universe" was allegedly spoiled. This happened via a leak on the music streaming service called JOOX.

NCT's "Universe" is slated to drop on the 14th of December, only a mere couple of days prior to the leak.

NCTzens, the fandom name oF NCT, immediately took to Twitter and stood in solidarity to ask SM Entertainment to fix the issue when the NCT album was leaked. Not long after this, the NCT album was then taken down from JOOX, but the damage was already done as a handful of netizens were already able to stream it.

The fandom of NCT has since been calling out SM Entertainment for being too cavalier with NCT's album.

NCT themselves are now aware of the situation and its member Haechan has gone on to leave a comment on Bubble to ask fans to not listen to their leaked album. Like the loyal fans they are, NCTzens then gathered online and took a stand to not listen to "Universe."

Fans are hoping that the release of "Universe" on the 14th of December will still garner the same amount of attention and love from netizens as NCT worked hard for their complete comeback.

As of writing this article, SM Entertainment has not released any statement regarding the matter.
