Both V & Jennie Get Severe Disrespect As BTS Member Accidentally Follows ‘Solo’ Singer On Instagram!
Just recently, the members of BTS finally created personal Instagram accounts, and all the members immediately garnered millions of followers.
Some of the members of BTS were learning how to use Instagram, and in the process, one specific BTS member might have broken the internet, but not in a good way. Notably, BTS's V made some netizens and fans upset when he accidentally followed BLACKPINK's Jennie.
Soon after BTS's V found out what he did 'wrong,' he quickly assured fans it was an accident. He then swiftly unfollowed BLACKPINK's Jennie and then proceeded to ask ARMYs on Weverse if there was a way to remove Instagram's recommendation function.
ARMYs and BLINKs were quick to understand and not get affected by the mishap, but some netizens and 'fans' went on to drop severe hate comments towards both BTS's V and BLACKPINK's Jennie.
BLACKPINK Jennie's Instagram account was soon filled with negative comments by anonymous Instagram users. Almost all her recent photos were filled to the brim with hurtful and malicious comments.

BTS's V then also started to get sudden hate on Twitter as users started to flood him with negative comments too. Among the most disrespectful comments was one regarding his late grandmother and some were outright calling him names such as 'nasty' and 'creepy.'
Some good-willed netizens and fans defended BTS's V and BLACKPINK's Jennie, leaving positive messages and scolding the 'fans' who were really upset at the simple and harmless mishap.
Neither HYBE nor YG Entertainment has released any statement regarding the random hate their K-pop stars have gotten.
