Queen Of Romance! IU Stuns In The MV Of Her New Single ‘Strawberry Moon’!

Netizens and fans cheer on the solo queen herself as IU has recently been achieving multiple milestones!

To the delight of Uaenas, the fandom name of IU, the solo artist, and actress topped last week's most-followed female K-Pop artists list after she garnered more than 12k new followers on her personal Twitter. 

As of writing this article, the "Celebrity" singer currently boasts 1.1 million Twitter followers!

But beyond this, IU gave another reason for her fans to cheer her on as she finally dropped another gem of a song alongside a very colorful music video!

On the 18th of October, IU finally made her highly-awaited comeback as she released her new single entitled "Strawberry Moon"! With her new hit, she also flaunted her romantic vibes with a very sweet music video!

IU's "Strawberry Moon" is a new digital single and as per the single's description on Melon, the song was first thought of by IU as an easy listening track with an acoustic guitar. But the addition of Lee Jong Hoon's piano theme turned it into a very calming pop-rock song. 

IU's "Strawberry Moon" description says:

"The things that happen inside of me when I fall in love are a more unbelievable fantasy than the strawberry-colored moon in the night sky in June that looks like it was made with Photoshop. I hope that people who listen to this song can remember those fantasy moments that might not come often, might not come again, but that everyone experiences at least once in their life."

Lee Jong Hoon and Lee Chae Gyu, both producers, also went on to add elements of the electronic genre to make listeners feel as though they are in space.

Currently, the music video for IU's "Strawberry Moon" already has 3.9 million views, 530k likes, and 29,190 comments to show how much listeners love IU's new single!
