JYP Entertainment's ITZY made their debut in 2019 and now with their first-ever full album, Yeji, Lia, Chaeryeong, Ryujin, and Yuna have come a long way!

More than a week ago on the 24th of September, ITZY made their most ambitious comeback to date with their album "CRAZY IN LOVE." With this came the music video, their title track "LOCO" and the MV dominated the trending list of YouTube.

To the delight of MIDZYs (the fandom name of ITZY), the MV did so well that it took less than 2 for the MV of ITZY's "LOCO" to reach more than 18.97 million views on YouTube, making it the most viewed K-Pop girl group music video for that week.

Furthermore, on the 1st of October, Hanteo Chart announced that ITZY's "CRAZY IN LOVE" has sold a total of 259,705 copies in its first week of sales dated September 24 to 30 and this has broken ITZY's previous first-week sales record of 200,130 set by "GUESS WHO."

Thus, ITZY has now become the fourth-highest selling girl group for first-week sales in Hanteo history, following behind BLACKPINK, IZ*ONE, and their labelmate TWICE.

Beyond the recent achievements and awards, the members of ITZY are primarily proud and happy as "Crazy in Love" was something they truly worked hard for. This was touched on by ITZY's Lia in an interview with Forbes!

On finally dropping a full-length album, Lia noted, "We were very nervous and happy at the same time because although we have had a few songs before, it is our first actual, like, full-length album. We've put lots of time in it and we put in lots of effort and love in it."

ITZY's Lia also talked about the immense pressure ITZY has been feeling with every musical release. "Every time when we come out with a new song, there is definitely a pressure of having to be better than the previous song," ITZY's vocalist noted.

Furthermore, on keeping up the pace with each new release, Lia explained that she thinks ITZY is fine, but she admitted that they have a hard time when they have to remember previous songs. As they are not always practicing the songs from their previous albums.

But like their iconic lyrics said, 'they keep talking, we keep walking'.

Congratulations to JYP Entertainment's ITZY on the highly successful comeback!
