Not long after, JYP Entertainment's 4th generation K-pop girl group dropped their music video for their album's title track entitled "LOCO" and the music video dominated the trending list of YouTube, to the delight of MIDZYs (the fandom name of ITZY) from all over the world.
The music video did so well that in less than 2 days since its release, ITZY's MV for "LOCO" reached more than 18.97 million views on YouTube, propelling the MV to the top spot of last week's most viewed K-Pop girl group music videos.
Currently, ITZY is busy promoting their most recent comeback to add to its success, as it seems as though it is working as the JYP Entertainment girl group has reached a milestone on Hanteo only a handful of girl groups have ever reached.
As mentioned above, ITZY recently made their highly-anticipated comeback with their first-ever full-length album entitled "CRAZY IN LOVE" alongside its title track "LOCO."
Following this, as of writing this article, yesterday on the 1st of October, Hanteo Chart announced that ITZY's "CRAZY IN LOVE" has sold a total of 259,705 copies in its first week of sales for its release dated September 24 to 30.
This has broken ITZY's previous first-week sales record of 200,130 set by their mini-album entitled "GUESS WHO."
With this milestone, ITZY has now become the fourth-highest selling girl group for first-week sales in Hanteo history, following behind BLACKPINK, IZ*ONE, and their labelmate TWICE.
