Just recently, the brand reputation rankings data regarding the brand rankings of individual K-pop girl group members were released and all the members of YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK made the top 10!

BLACKPINK's Rosé ranked 9th overall and BLACKPINK's Jisoo sat comfortably in 6th place. Ahead of them in 2nd place is BLACKPINK's Jennie for this month's rankings as she tallied a total brand reputation index of 4,439,031!

Taking the number one spot is none other than the Thai idol herself, BLACKPINK's Lisa! The BLACKPINK maknae and dancer scored a total of 5,365,468 index for the month of September.

This shows that the members of BLACKPINK are not only one of the most popular K-pop group members for this month but are also one of the most popular K-pop girl groups as well.

There is not denying the influence and popularity of BLACKPINK. Thus, them being chosen by the United Nations in the UN family as ambassadors is no surprise yet is still truly a huge honor, making BLINKs (the name of their fandom) very proud.

As of writing this article, two days ago on the 17th of September, it was announced that BLACKPINK had been chosen as ambassadors for the UN.

António Guterres, the UN secretary-general, announced the news on the 17th of September, that they had chosen YG Entertainment's BLACKPINK as ambassadors prior to the Sustainable Development Goals summit.

"Honor to participate in creating a path toward a better world. Along with BLINKs, we want to promote the importance of SDGs to the entire world and contribute to solving the problems we are facing today," the members of BLACKPINK stated.

Congratulations to the members of YG Entertainment BLACKPINK for the amazing honor bestowed upon them!

Stay tuned for more updates and news regarding Rosé, Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa.
