For D.O., the experience is quite new as he is used to singing with the other members of EXO. The EXO member even added that he is excited and curious about people's reactions to his album. D.O.'s mini-album is named "Empathy" and the K-pop idol revealed why this was the case.

"There were times when I could not relate to the word 'empathy,' but I felt that there was a lot of energy in it. Just like I had experienced good and influential energy, I decided to go with the theme of 'empathy' with the desire to give that to others," D.O. revealed.

EXO's D.O. then explained that since it was his first solo album, he focused on doing music that he wanted to do. Moreover, D.O. really likes the sound of an acoustic guitar, thus came the decision to fill his album with acoustic songs.

To add to this, D.O. also talked about his album's title track and the B-side tracks.

Regarding his title track, "Rose," D.O. explained that "Rose" is an acoustic folk genre song with a refreshing guitar rhythm. D.O. explained that the key point of the title song is that it has an easy melody that anyone can sing along to.

On his B-side songs, EXO's D.O. revealed that the song "I'm Gonna Love You" is a track with a rhythmical guitar sound and features rapper and singer Wonstein.

Initially, D.O. shared that Wonstein was the only artist he had in mind for his song "I'm Gonna Love You." Thus, D.O. was so thankful when Wonstein agreed to do the song with him.

At the end of the interview, EXO's D.O. decided to give a sweet and touching message to EXO-Ls, netizens, and his personnel fans.

"Hello, this is EXO's D.O. I am greeting you with my solo album. It is my first solo album, so I am very nervous and excited. I worked hard to make it so that you can feel the good energy while listening to the songs, so I hope you will be happy. Make sure to always eat well, and stay healthy. Thank you."
