The new "Rock Band 4" DLC outfit theme of "Fallout" does not need to have "Fallout 4" installed in the console, according to Destructoid.

A few days ago, it was announced that the game will have new songs coming in as a DLC pack with tracks from Van Halen, which is called the Van Halen Hits Pack 01. It contains several favorite songs of fans of the band like "Unchained." A player can purchase the whole pack or he or she can purchase the songs individually.

Today, Harmonix has announced that from Dec. 8, "Rock Band 4" owners will be able to download a "Fallout 4" themed outfit, Vault 111, as a "Rock Band 4" DLC for free, according to IGN. The outfits can be installed right away even if the player has no "Fallout 4" game installed in his or her console.

Harmonix CEO Steve Janiak has also revealed he is a fan of the game franchise.

"I've been a Fallout fan since the beginning," said Janiak. "Playing some of the amazing songs in our Rock Band catalog with a band of Vault dwellers is something we think you'll find is crazy fun."

Not only does a gamer's band member wear the Vault 111 outfit, they will also sport a Pip-Boy while playing in the band. Harmonix even said that the accessory will react to the music which give a better immersive experience for the gamers.

The game will also have updates aside from the new "Rock Band 4" DLC on Dec. 8. The free updates will include Leaderboard updates, better instrument calibration, variable "Breakneck" speed, new items in the Rock Shop, more player stats and many more, according to iDigitalTimes.

"We've said that we're viewing Rock Band 4 as a platform that we will build on over time," said Product Manager Daniel Sussman of "Rock Band 4". "And this first feature update is just the beginning."
