‘Killer Instinct’ Season 3 New Characters Confirmed; Unique Shadow Jago Coming This December!

"Killer Instinct" season 3 will be launching with four new characters for the game, according to Gamespot.

"Killer Instinct" 2013 is a fighting video game which is the third iteration of the "Killer Instinct" gaming series. The game was developed by Double Helix Games, Iron Galaxy Studios, Rare, and Microsoft Studios. The game was released as a free-to-play launch game for the new generation console, Xbox One, in 2013. This is the reboot of the game franchise, but it has based some of the elements from the past two games.

"Killler Instinct" season 3 will be launched in March 2016 and will feature three new characters in the game. These characters are "Killer Instinct 2's" Kim Wu, Tusk, Gargos and the Battletoad called Rash. Rash was announced last Gamescom, according to sources.

"Killer Instinct" is now celebrating two years since the day it was launched on Xbox One. To celebrate this anniversary, a new character will be introduced this December and that will be a unique Shadow Jago, according to Videogamer.com.

Iron Galaxy Studios promised that Shadow Jago will not be just a re-skin of the original Jago, but it will have its own moveset and will be joining the roster this December before "Killer Instinct" season 3 launches, according to Destructoid.

In addition, the studio will also be launching a title update for the game. Title update 2.12 will make HUD changes in the game which will provide players and commentators with more information. It will also offer better visual feedback for reversals, combo breaks and more.

Ruakri Austin, community manager of Iron Galaxy Studios, announced the news in a blog post which, thanks the players for two years with "Killer Instinct."

"The future is bright, and we owe it all to you, our wonderful community, for helping to make Killer Instinct what it is today. Thank you for continuing to pour everything you've got in to making KI and its community so awesome," wrote the game's official blog.
