‘Ridin’’ The Hot Wave: NCT DREAM Takes 6th Consecutive Win On “M Countdown”!

NCT Dream made their debut on the 24th of August in 2016 under SM Entertainment and since then, the K-pop boy group has been enjoying lavish success in the K-pop industry. Most recently from their comeback!

Around 18 days ago on the 10th of May, one of SM Entertainment's NCT's subgroups, NCT DREAM, released their comeback with their album "Hot Sauce." 

NCT DREAM's comeback album, "Hot Sauce," has 10 songs and the title song being the track of the same name, "Hot Sauce." Moreover, just before the release of "Hot Sauce," NCT DREAM already broke their personal record in pre-order sales of their album.

Since releasing "Hot Sauce," NCT DREAM's title track has won award after award, topped No.1  on multiple charts, and taken the No.1 spot on SBS's "Inkigayo" for four consecutive times. 

Just a couple of days ago, on the 26th of May, it was reported that NCT DREAM's "Hot Sauce", also their first ever full-length album, has gone on to sell over 2 million copies of their albums.

NCT DREAM only took over 2 weeks, around 16 days, to be dubbed as double million sellers. But once again, NCTzens are given another reason to show their love even more to NCT DREAM as SM Entertainment's K-pop boy group has reached yet another milestone.

As of writing this article, just yesterday on the 27th of May, NCT DREAM received their 6th win on KBS' "Music Bank."

The most recent episode, airing on the 27th of May, of Mnet's music show "Music Bank", showed that there were 2 candidates to take the No. 1 spot.

The 2 K-pop groups and their respective song vying for the top spot on Mnet's "Music Bank" were NCT DREAM and their title track "Hot Sauce" and Oh My Girl with their most recent hit "Dun Dun Dance." 

After results were tallied, NCT DREAM nabbed the win garnering a total of 8,275 points.
