Industry insiders reported on May 14, "Itaewon Class" actor Park Seo Joon is offered to lead an upcoming drama written by "Dr. Romantic" writer Kang Eun Kyung. The drama will be directed by Jung Dong Yoon, who is behind "It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020)" and "Hot Stove League (2019)."

According to reports, Park Seo Joon receive the offer to portray the male lead Jang Tae Sang who is a wealthy man of Bukchon. He is a man who selfishly focuses more on his current reality rather than being interested in justice. Park Seo Joon's Jang Tae Sang then meets a woman who will completely turn his world upside down.

With the literal title "Gyeongseong Creature," the drama will be a thriller that deals with human wounds and anxiety. It is a story of survival and human dignity. The story of "Gyeongseong Creature" will revolve around young people who had no choice but to risk their lives just to get even just a pinch of happiness.

In response to the reports, Park Seo Joon's agency Awesome ENT confirmed that indeed the actor received an offer to star in the drama "Gyeongseong Creature." However, the entertainment agency clarified that as of the moment, Park Seo Jeon has only received the drama's synopsis. Meanwhile, the script for the drama has yet to be received by the actor.

In addition, Awesome ENT revealed that the actor is positively considering the offer, and theta is currently checking on his schedule to come up with a decision.

Recently, Park Seo Joon was cast to lead the movie "Concrete Utopia" together with Lee Byung Hun and Park Bo Young. Also, the "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" actor will also be starring as a soccer player for the upcoming movie "Dream" together with IU, Lee Hyun Woo, and Kim Jong Soo.
