A New Global Boy Group Will Debut Under Big Hit Entertainment Soon
Big Hit Entertainment is teaming up with Universal Music Group for the next global superstars!
Its official - Big Hit Entertainment and Universal Music Group announced their strategic partnership and future plans that will change music history.
According to Universal Music Group Chairman Sir Lucian Grainage, their company made three key partnerships with BTS' label, Big Hit Entertainment.
The three key partnership strategies between the two entertainment companies include: launching a brand new global artist project, use of Big Hit's resources and technology to enhance artist connection with the world and enhancing the fan and artist experience to further innovate the music industry.
Big Hit Entertainment Chairman and CEO Bang Si Hyuk shared how important the partnership is and what an honor it is to build a joint venture with a global company such as Universal Music Group (UMG). Furthermore, the brain behind the global superstars, which is BTS, praised UMG for its legacy, influence, and expertise in the industry.
Global Boy Group Project 2022
Meanwhile, Big Hit Entertainment's Global CEO Lenzo Yoon shared that together with UMG, they are planning to debut a new boy group for the global stage. Another exciting detail that Yoon shared was the plan for a global audition in 2022 that will be broadcasted in the United States with a media partner.
For this "Global Boy Group Project," Big Hit will be responsible for discovering and training the artists, content production, and fan communications. On the other hand, UMG will be in charge of music production, global distribution, and partnering with U.S media outlets for the production of the audition program.
