Korean singer BIBI will take part in the 2021 Fall/Winter collection at the New York Fashion Week, representing the brand "ul:kin." She will be gracing the runway with TXT's Yeonjun and WayV's YangYang. The fashion show will be conducted virtually.

It is happening on February 17th at 10:30 a.m. Korean time, the fashion show will feature ul:kin, a brand headed by designer Lee Seong-dong.

It will be the first time BIBI is participating in the New York Fashion Week. The brand has chosen her to be part of the event because of her popularity in the music industry, her sensuous style, and unique tone, according to Naver News.

Korean designer brand ul:kin has always been known for introducing hybrid sensibility designs based on sustainability, upcycling, and art. Their 2021 Fall/Winter collection will take the theme "Slaughter," condemning human behaviors that destroy the environment. BIBI is also releasing a music video featuring the runway collection.

Officials from the brand said that the charm of their recent collection is reflected in the special energy of the Korean artists.

BIBI has been active in the broadcast, entertainment, advertising, and film industry, as she has also been selected as the endorser for Levi's.

TXT's Yeonjun and WayV's Yangyang will also be walking the New York Fashion Week for Concept Korea F/W 2021, showcasing the creations of Korean designers who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Concept Korea will conduct their government-sponsored fashion show at the New York Fashion Week. They have been promoting local designers since 2020.

Shin Hye-young's WNDERKAMMER, Lee Ji-yeon's JARRET, and Lee Seong-dong's ul:kin will be part of the show. WNDERKAMMER will also feature a cinematic runway video.

"Unlike the offline shows, the digital runway has another advantage as it allows fashion designers to exercise their imagination as creators to direct the season's concept without spatial limits," the three participating designers said.
