BTS Remains Unbeatable For 31st Consecutive Month; NCT, SEVENTEEN Follows Far Behind
The septet from Big Hit Entertainment continues to hold the crown as the leading K-Pop Boy Group in the brand reputation rankings for December.
Covering November 12 to December 12, the Korean Business Research Institute has revealed the top K-Pop boy groups of the month. The boy group's brand reputation index is an index determined by the analysis of the participation value, communication value, media value, and community value.
For 31 months now, BTS is miles apart from other K-Pop boy groups with their total brand reputation index of 23,659,001. Compared to their brand reputation index of 8,595,929 in November, BTS saw an astonishing 175.23% increase. Some of the high-ranking phrases in the group's keyword analysis are "band of the year," "celebrity of the year," and "Dynamite."
SM Entertainment's NCT secured second place with a brand reputation index of 5,341,172. The group has a participation index of 505,295, a media index of 1,576,013, a communication index of 1,442,472, and a community index of 1,576,387. The group placed second for three months now.
Meanwhile, PLEDIS Entertainment's SEVENTEEN sits at a third place, having garnered a brand reputation index of 3,602,368, which is a 68.97% increase from their November index. The group has a participation index of 486,112, a media index of 634,314, a communication index of 1,196,261, and a community index of 1,282,682.
Completing our top-five list for boy groups are EXO and BTOB. EXO took fourth place with a 3,201,871 brand reputation index, while BTOB grabbed the fifth spot with 2,640,910.
