Samsung Introduces 'Moon' Mode In Galaxy Camera App, Screen Recorder For PCs

South Korean multinational tech conglomerate Samsung is introducing new features for smartphones and PCs. First, it enables the "Moon" mode in the Galaxy camera app. 

This new feature is a dedicated camera mode that is stand-alone and integrated with Scene Optimizer. It means unless the smartphone user points their camera at the Moon, they might have been unaware of this feature, Sam Mobile said in their report. 

Its Scene Optimizer can quickly pick up whether or not the user is pointing at the Moon with their camera, but the final results, according to Sam Mobile's Mihai M., are not at all different compared to the shots captured without the optimizer on. 

For many Samsung smartphone users, it might herald the beginning of a full-fledged astrophotography, and the mode can even enhance with future updates.

Aside from this feature of the Galaxy camera app, Samsung is also introducing a beautiful screen recorder app for Windows 10 laptops. The app is called Samsung Screen Recorder. 

As you launch the app, it will feature the app bar that lets users begin screen recording, take screenshots, launch a webcam window, and launch the app settings.

Samsung's Windows 10 feature will also let users modify the video resolution of the recording up to a low quality of 720 x 480, audio on-off and audio source selection, the yes-no display of the cursor icon during recording and associated click effects, folder selection where to save the recordings, image format screenshot selections for various formats, quick keyboard input customization, app usage guide, and so much more.  

The recording will start after a countdown timer running for three seconds. Samsung is also launching the Galaxy Buds Pro, the Galaxy A32 5G, and offers many of its products on sale this holiday season. It has actually started offering big discounts on Black Friday.
