CL debuts on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” + praises BTS’ global success

2ne1's Leader and K-pop and Fashion Icon, CL is back with "+H₩A+" and fans can't get over her stunning premier showcase at CBS' The Late Late Show With James Corden.

The Queen's powerful US debut performance on the American late-night talk show was filmed at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul. 

When asked by Corden about what makes her new album "ALPHA" special, CL answered "...This is my first [solo] album. So I'm excited about that, that I could be creative and free and share all my music and performance with my fans. Finally."

Meanwhile, in an online press conference, the Baddest Female praised BTS whom she pertained to as "hoobaes" for their success in the international music scene. 

"BTS [members] are really admirable, and I think they're doing a great job."

CL  also expressed that she is very happy about the recent globalization of K-pop and how it succeeded in being recognized as part of the pop music industry. 

"Many people who live there as well as Koreans and Asians now know how we express ourselves. I'm very satisfied. I feel like the borders have been blurred, and now, it's not K-Pop and pop, but K-pop is now apart of the pop music industry," said CL.
