Ariana Grande Matches Beatles' Record; Holds Three Top Spots On Billboard Hot 100
Ariana Grande did what many think will never happen again. She has matched the record set by the Beatles by securing the top three spots on the Billboard Hot 100.

Grande's "7 Rings" remains at No. 1 on the Hot 100 for its fourth week, while "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" debuts at No. 2. Her latest album's title track, "Thank U, Next," returned at No. 3.
This makes her the second act in the 60-year history of the Hot 100 chart to dominate the top three in a week and the first in nearly 55 years. The Beatles earned the same honor for five weeks in March and April 1964 with their "Can't Buy Me Love," "Twist and Shout" and "Do You Want to Know a Secret. The Fab Four also claimed the entire top five on the April 4, 1964-dated chart.
Ariana Grande may not be the first to make such music milestone but she still made history. The 25-year-old pop star is the first solo artist and first female artist to achieve such feat.
Even Grande herself can't believe what she has achieved. In her post on Twitter following the Billboard's announcement, Grande admitted that she first thought the announcement is a hoax.
"I laughed when I saw this bc I thought y'all edited it. thank u from the bottom of my heart. for so many reasons. first time since the Beatles huh. that's wild. I thought this was a joke when I saw it I'm not kidding," Grande wrote along with the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
All of her three songs in Hot 100 are from her chart-topping album Thank U, Next. The singer dropped the album on February 8, just six months after her previous album, Sweetener. Thank U, Next also debuted at No. 1 on the albums chart.
Meanwhile, Grande also made history last week in the United Kingdom when Thank U, Next entered the Official UK Albums Chart at No. 1. Additionally, her "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" and "7 Rings" are at No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively, on the Official UK Singles Chart. This makes her the first female artist in the UK Albums Chart history to hold both the No. 1 album and top two singles in the UK.
