GOT7 Celebrates 5th Anniversary With A Video Thanking iGOT7 + Jackson Receives Warm Welcome At Milan Fashion Show
GOT7 has been trending on Wednesday on social media sites as the K-pop group celebrates their first year anniversary. To thank their fans who supported them for the last five years, the group shared a sweet video for their iGOT7 on YouTube and a cute clip on Twitter.
GOT7 fans showed their love and support to the K-pop boy group and have been trending #5YearsWithGOT7 worldwide on Wednesday. In return, GOT7 posted a touching video to show their appreciation to their fans. Watch the video below.
On January 16 midnight, GOT7 also shared on their official Twitter account a clip of each member acting out five-letter phrases to create one whole message for their fans. The group expressed how much they love their fans.
"It's already been five years since iGOT7 and I have been together. I love you so much for being with us even today and now. Let's be together forever," the group said.
The members also celebrated the special event with posts on their individual social media accounts. GOT7 leader JB shared a group shot of him and his bandmates along with the simple caption "5" to signify their anniversary. Yugyeom also shared group photos taken at various locations over the years. BamBam uploaded a photo of GOT7 on stage and thanked their fans in his caption.
"Proud to be GOT7. Proud to have a fandom name's iGOT7. We're 7 and we will be 7 forever. Thank you for 5 years with us," he said.
GOT7 debuted on January 16, 2014 with their first on-air performance of "Girls Girls Girls" on Mnet's M! Countdown. Through the years, the band released hit tracks such as "Stop Stop It," "Just Right," "Hard Carry," "Look," and "Lullaby."
The most recent album of GOT7, titled Present You, was dropped in September 2018. The album has been certified platinum by Gaon Chart in November after selling over 250,000 copies.
Meanwhile, GOT7's Jackson attracts attention in Milan, Italy. The GOT7 rapper attended the Milan Fashion Week on Monday. Dispatch shared a short V Live video showing Jackson's arrival at the fashion show venue where he was greeted by a crowd who are enthusiastically calling out his name.
He also gave a surprise performance at the event. Jackson sang his latest single "Different Game." Jackson is currently Fendi's official brand ambassador for the China region.
As for the other members, Mark, BamBam, Youngjae, and Jinyoung will star in an upcoming reality TV show that is filmed in Thailand. The show, titled GOT7's Real Thai, is set to premiere on January 16 on XtvN.
